I love this photo of my larp character Won Iseul-Sung. Thank you, Moritz Jendral.

I made the costume on a very short notice, and It turned out quite well. But I am already working on replacing all the bits an pieces I had to Improvise.

There was this article about broken crown, a Larp I attended to. It has some really great pictures taken by Moritz Jendral, an there is even one of my character, Wôn Iseul-Sung.

I really like how it does not only represent Wôn really well, but also Makrabar culture in itself.

Calligraphy Practice

There is this beautiful way to write English in a writing system suitable for an East Asian character. It’s called square word Calligraphy.

I practiced a bit before the larp, but writing this is actually easier than it looks, so I was able to get into it very quickly.

During the larp I still used a reference and I need quite some time to write a sentence. But it’s so much fun. I definitely want to use it more often

Broken Crown IV was my most spontaneous Larp so far. I decided to attend about two weeks before the Larp and made a new Character in that period of Time. It worked out better than I’d hoped. And I need to wear coloured contact lenses more often.

The character’s costume is mostly inspired by Joseon hanbok with a few parts I borrowed from my Chinese-inspired character  and some general improvised stuff.

Thanks to Lena for taking the photo.
